Introducing the second generation of the Phantom 100P. Like the original version, this racquet combines spin-friendly targeting with a wonderfully solid feel at impact. It also accelerates with surprising ease for a racquet with a near 330 RDC-swingweight. Boasting a thin box beam and flexible 59RA, the 100P not only has buttery feedback but it is also more arm-friendly than the majority of racquet's in its class. For this update Prince adds an Anti-Torsion System which places Textreme and Twaron in the upper hoop and shaft. The payoff is a more solid and responsive feel higher in the stringbed where many advanced players make contact. This stick also packs a variable CTS Beam, which goes from 16.5mm in the shaft to 20.5mm at the tip. On groundstrokes the 100P does a great job when redirecting the pace of a bigger hitter. Like the previous generation, it rewards full swings with an impressive combination of power and precision. The open 16x18 string pattern not only supplies enough bite to bring the ball down hard with spin, it also gives you a robust launch angle, making it easier to keep the ball deep. Experienced volleyers will love the combination of stability and touch. This racquet also shines on serve where you'll have enough precision to swing for power, and enough spin to hit juicy kickers and nasty slices. With incremental tweaks to the feel, the 100P keeps getting better. Intermediate and advanced players looking for a great feeling racquet with exceptional precision should add this to their demo list.

Comments: I bought this racquet (from Tennis Only) based largely upon a favourable review by Tennisnerd on YouTube - he seems to be a a hard but fair kind of guy. Like so many people I am only just returning to tennis after a few decades. I started playing tennis on a heavy wooden racquet with a small head, so weight was never an issue when choosing a racquet. The Phantom 100P is not that heavy for me, it might be a consideration for others. I had it strung at T.O. in Solinco Hyper G soft in 1.25 at 55lbs. I took it out today along with two other racquets before the next competition series begins, I thought I would see which one suited me best. The other two racquets were really good and I concede that I am spoilt for choice, but the Phantom 100P is my new best friend. Effortless access to spin and a generous sweet spot made me look a lot better than I am! However, in fairness, I once was fairly useful on a court so I understood where I wanted to put the ball and how I wanted it to get there - so probably not an awesome choice for a beginner, you may not appreciate the racquet for what it is. Huh? well, what is it? I just told you, my new best friend and a racquet with a tonne of depth. Very few people will, reasonably, by able to claim that they are too talented to play with the Prince Phantom 100P.

Comments:The classic design and simple yet detailed when observed closely paint job stood out to me from the other racquets. Then I remembered how my first entry level racquet was a Prince back the day and I was instantly taken back.
Comments: I read the reviews on this stick and decided to take a chance. Oh boy, am I glad I did. It's got feel, comfort, control and power when you need it thanks to the slightly oversized head. I am in love with this stick and I'm super stoked that Prince is back and innovating once more. Started with Prince, finishing with Prince.
