For this generation Prince thickens the beam a tad to give you a slightly firmer and more powerful response. But make no mistake, this update still captures that buttery flex and arm-friendly comfort of the previous generation. Like other members of the Phantom series, this stick has Anti-Torsion System, which places Textreme and Twaron at 10 and 2 o'clock in the upper hoop and shaft. The upshot is a more powerful and stable hitting experience. This stick also packs a variable CTS Beam, which deploys a thin 18mm shaft for outstanding ball feedback. On groundstrokes the 100X (18x20) feels comfortable and solid at impact. The thicker beam and more responsive upper hoop provide a little extra pop, which comes in handy when driving the ball through the court.
