Building on the success of the previous version (Wave Exceed Tour 4), this Wave Exceed Tour 5 is even lighter than before, providing an explosive feel, and a high level of comfort. New to this version is the Enerzy technology, giving more rebound into your step to help maximize foot speed. The upper material is very light, and flexible to enhance the comfort, while also providing plenty of ventilation. Mizuno's DuRubber outsole is resistant to the wear and tear of gritty hard courts, and our testers found some added give when it came to the traction, which works well for those who slide into their shots.

Comments: The shoes are very nice looking and very light and balanced, size is true, but for my type of feet, I will need more support on the arch and ankle. I ended up with sore feet after 3 sets playing on this shoes.

Comments: This is a great light weight shoe. However, recommendations were to order a half size smaller. Don't do it, my shoe came at the size I ordered which didn't leave that space needed in the toe. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoy this shoe.

Comments: Loved the wave 4 but the 5 is not a improvement the tongue could be an inch longer so you could get a better grip on it for adjustment

Comments: Bought these for my son who loved the Wave Exceed 4. These just weren't as comfortable and did not fit as well. We returned them. The tongue is weird and there wasn't enough padding compared to previous models.

Comments: First time trying Mizuno shoes. Very lightweight, but still offers great support. Had to loosen the laces towards the front of the shoe because I have a wide foot, and it worked out fine.

Comments: Long time Asics Resolution fan, but had to look elsewhere because they have not been in stock since Covid. I am very happy that with my Mizuno shoe purchase. The soles are grippy, comfortable, and support my feet well. They are about a month old and feel good so far. Hopefully they still feel good when they start wearing down. Comments: This is much more different than the previous model of the Wave Exceed Tour 4. This shoe is narrower since its a 43cm and not a 44cm in the size 10 compared to the previous model. Make sure to ask on the what the cm European measurement before ordering when comparing to your current shoes for fit. The shoe is less cushiony and more low to the ground. It's definitely lighter and you can move faster. If you like those aspects, then this is the shoe for you. Unfortunately, I liked the previous version better. I don't understand why they keep changing the design of the shoe and making it less solid.

Comments: I like the shoe, but I agree with TO that they run a bit long. I wear an 11.5 and these had an extra 1/2 in the toe.

Comments: The shoes are very light and low. They look distinctive. The upper soles are soft, but I found them too narrow in comparison to Asics and Diadora. Length is normal, so following TO recommendation to buy 1/2 size smaller didn't work for me.

Comments: I got spoiled months ago on some light Babolat Jet Tere shoes. I found them on sale and tried them out and will never go back to a heavy shoe. The problem though was the the Babolats had crappy arch support and I developed some nasty plantar fascia. So I got some arch supports and put them in the Babolats until they wore out, yes the inserts added weight but they were very good shoes and still lighter than a heavy shoe with inserts. The Mizunos are lighter than the Babolats, grippier and also accomodate my arch inserts. I had some interim KSwiss with my inserts that felt like bricks on my feet so I had to go light again (I was spoiled from the Babolats) and I chose the Mizunos. As with the Babolats, the Mizuno shoes have this high piece at the back of the shoe so my insert doesn't make me feel as if my heel is going to come out and the light weight and suppleness if great, I will never go back to 12.5 ounce plus shoes. I think these may even have a 6 month guarantee. I hate triple digits on tennis shoes but the heavier KSwiss I had felt dangerous on my feet. Light is the way to go
