Introducing Dunlop's Explosive Red, a monofilament polyester string with an impressive combination of spin, control and durability. With it's firm construction, this string's low-power will give you the needed control to attack the ball with your biggest and most powerful strokes. As a result, you'll be able to load the ball with more pace and spin. In addition to its high tensile strength, this string has a slippery, heat treated surface, resulting in greater snapback (for spin) and less frictional wear (for durability). Recommended to intermediate and advanced players who value spin, control and durability.

Comments: Explosive is right. You really can take a rip at the ball with these new strings. It took me a few sessions to get comfortable with them, but then I felt I could take full top spin cuts and the ball would go right where I wanted it to go. For disclosure, they are a stiff poly and after hitting two days in a row I had a little soreness in my shoulder and elbow. Even after going down a couple pounds where I string my Black Widow, I may go a couple pounds lower and try a couple more sessions to see if that helps. If not, I'll stay with the Black Widow, but if I can handle the stiffness I will be giving this a rip.
