There are a plethora of lightweight, speed-oriented performance shoes on the market, but not many can do what the Solution Speed FF 2 does! It remains light while still maintaining a high level of support, plus cushioning for the most aggressive movers. The FlyteFoam midsole provides a smooth, plush ride while the Twisstruss system helps with stability for ultra-aggressive lateral cuts. One key improvement our testers found was the Flexion Fit upper material which contours to the foot better than before making movement seamless. Durability has been improved with added protection to the medial side for hard court sliders. The outsole provides a nice blend of grip, while not feeling overly sticky, catering to speedy players, like Alex de Minaur, who slide into their shots on gritty hard courts.
- Upper: FLEXION FIT PU redesigned for increased flexibility and prevents bunching at the toe box. PGUARD technology protects toe-drag damage on the medial side.
- Midsole: FLYTEFOAM cushioning is responsive comfortable. FLYTEFOAM PROPEL helps with heel to toe transition for a speedier feel when pushing off. Trusstic system helps resist unwanted twisting for added stability.
- Outsole: High Abrasion Rubber in a multi-directional tread pattern offers good durability and traction on any court surface.

Comments: I cannot believe how comfortable these shoes are, especially considering how light they are. They fit me like a glove. I know everyone's feet are different, but I have found my favourite tennis shoes.

Comments: Great mix of a speed shoe and a durability option. Uppers are thick and strong to stand up to aggressive moving, yet the overall shoe construction is streamlined and relatively slim fitting/looking. The fit is pretty narrow. Only worn them once so far, and had a bit of toe jamming, but I expect that to go away once I break them in more and get the fit right. Little to no break-in. I took them right from the box to the court, and only had a minimal adjustment period. Great kicks, and they look sharp, too!

Comments: I am a size 11 wearing Asics Court FF, but these are considerably smaller and much more narrow. Super comfortable, but should have ordered a half size bigger.

Comments: Got mine from TO last month. I normally don't favor picking shoes that don't come with a refundable six-month sole durability, but this time I took the risk and went for it. The fit is perfect for my narrow feet and it's super comfortable even when it came straight out of the box, very typical qualities of Asics. Almost zero break-in time. The only concern is that the sole gets smooth quickly. I have worn it for about 48 hours of court time now and the sole area near the bottom of my toe became smooth without treads. If only Asics could apply the sole of Gel Resolution onto the Solution Speed FF 2, while maintaining the upper as it is, I almost can guarantee that this Solution Speed FF 2 will be a Gel Resolution killer. Why am I saying so? Because the upper and the comfort of Solution Speed FF 2 out beat Gel Resolution by far and if Solution Speed FF 2 are awarded the sole quality of Gel Resolution, then, it's almost possible to say. The best shoes ever created for tennis is finally here.

Comments: I love these shoes! This is my first cycle for the Solution Speed FF 2 shoes. They fit great right out of the box. I wear them for tennis and pickleball. I cannot speak to the durability, but I don't really care, providing the wear is not very poor, I will wear them until Asics changes them. Size 11, true to size.

Comments: Alright. All I have to say is it's about time! I've been a big fan of the Solution Speed series since the first generation. The second generation was the best. The Solution Speed 3 shoes were okay, but they were too narrow. Then came the first generation of this series. Total disappointment in my opinion. They were narrow and the cushioning was sub par. The only thing that was nice was the weight. That's it. This second generation of the Solution Speed and Solution Speed FF 2 shoes are by far like the second generation Solution Speed 2! Lightweight shoes that have a plush and comfortable ride! Reminiscent of the old Nike Breathe Free 2 shoes! Way to go Asics!

Comments: I've been wearing New Balance 996v4 for the past year and feel that they are good shoes. However, with the limited supply and poor color selection, most guys like black or white solids, I've decided to try the Asics Solution Speed FF 2. The Asics shoes have better comfort, traction, and stability than the 996v4. It allows for faster play. I feel that anyone who likes the 996v4 will find that these shoes have more to offer.
