There are a plethora of lightweight, speed-oriented performance shoes on the market, but not many can do what the Solution Speed FF 2 does! It remains light while still maintaining a high level of support, plus cushioning for the most aggressive movers. The FlyteFoam midsole provides a smooth, plush ride while the Twisstruss system helps with stability for ultra-aggressive lateral cuts. One key improvement our testers found was the Flexion Fit upper material which contours to the foot better than before making movement seamless. Durability has been improved with added protection to the medial side for hard court sliders. The outsole provides a nice blend of grip, while not feeling overly sticky, catering to speedy players, like Alex de Minaur, who slide into their shots on gritty hard courts.
- Upper: FLEXION FIT PU redesigned for increased flexibility and prevents bunching at the toe box. PGUARD technology protects toe-drag damage on the medial side.
- Midsole: FLYTEFOAM cushioning is responsive comfortable. FLYTEFOAM PROPEL helps with heel to toe transition for a speedier feel when pushing off. Trusstic system helps resist unwanted twisting for added stability.
- Outsole: High Abrasion Rubber in a multi-directional tread pattern offers good durability and traction on any court surface.

Comments: This Asics shoe is just right for me. The mesh top allows me to tighten the shoes to my liking without bunching. They are reasonably light, yet have decent cushioning. They usually last about 6 months and are sturdy enough. I buy them 2 at a time as inventory can be deleted. I recommend these shoes.

Comments: This is a well made shoe. Great style, light and maneuverable. Classy. I am 6'4 lanky with slender feet. Generally I need a narrow shoe for security. But I think as I've gotten older my feet have spread out a bit. Plus I've been wearing zero drop shoes for jogging. The toe box in these Asics is narrow - so narrow that I feel my balance is effected. I feel less stable and grounded. I'm like a foot bound princess out there on them hardcourts. I'm afraid of doing a Zverev with my skinny ankles. Otherwise no problem with these shoes. Probably best for narrow footed folk who already move their feet like Federer.
