Overview

Worn by Novak Djokovic, the Court FF 2 has been updated to offer more support and stability making it an ideal shoe for the most aggressive of movers! Offering complete confidence with every step you take, the sides of these shoes have been built stronger and the upper has been transformed to offer even better support while the mono-sock construction features soft, padded step-in comfort. The Twistruss midfoot piece is now more flexible for extreme movements which keeps players who like to slide stable and allowing them to put complete trust in these shoes. Flytefoam technology provides light, yet responsive underfoot cushioning. Featuring the best of both worlds in terms of speed and stability, our playtesters are quickly calling this shoe one of their favorites!

  • Upper: Mesh and TPU upper provide support and stability with a tongue-less, sock-style design for sublime comfort and breathability. PGuard technology on the toe and medial side adds protection in key areas.
  • Midsole: FlyteFoam midsole offers ultra lightweight cushioning and support under foot. Midfoot Trusstic System technology adds rigidity and resists unwanted twisting for added stability.

Comments: These are pretty much the gold standard for me. Awesome cushioning, arch support, and traction. My foot is about a 11.25 medium, with a medium arch and the 11s fit perfectly. A snug feeling in the heel with still a little room in the toe box. Hard to put on, but it's worth it as they simply don't slip. At first I had pain in the inside right near the ankle where it was rubbing a bit. But that issue went away after a few outings. So if you get that stick it out, these will eventually feel like a cream puff. Very easy on the feet and knees. Plus I sometimes have hip pain and that seems to have gone away as well. Kudos to Novak or whoever designed these.

Comments: These shoes have the worst traction ever. You can slide in these without even trying, and change of direction can be dangerous as I slipped many times and pulled a hip flexor.
From: Sam, 6/23/20

Comments: I decided to return the Asics Court FF 2 Novak because of not enough ankle support for me. The technology is radical, feeling more like a glove than a shoe. They are very comfortable and cushioned. Not having a tongue means I need a shoe horn to even get these shoes on. No wonder Novak's feet will stay in the shoe no matter how radical his direction changes. With someone of his weight or lighter, perhaps ankle support is less of an issue. I am 6'4", 230 pounds, been playing mostly doubles for over 20 years at NTRP 3.75-4.0 level in the Chicago, Illinois area. I love my Asics Solution Speed FF and Resolution 7 shoes that have more ankle support.

Comments: These shoes feels great in every way except for the laces. When I tighten the laces even just medium tight, it hurts the top of my feet very bad, even while just sitting still. I normally wear the Gel Resolution, which has been all over the map for consistency in sizing and cushion, so I decided to try these shoes based on the good reviews. To me the platform of these shoes, cushion, right amount of flexibility, and stability is great. They are very comfortable and responsive. They are the shoes that Nike and Adidas tried to offer for years, but just never got right in my opinion. However, the issue with the laces is a very delicate balance. I have found that if I tighten the laces just a little looser than I did with the Gel Resolution shoes, they are more comfortable. However, I would like to see them beef up the cushion on the tongue of the shoe so I can tie laces a little tighter. If I'm playing an important match, I will probably switch back to the Gel Resolution shoes for stability, only because I can tie the laces tighter without pain. These shoes will be great for long training sessions and practice sets, because the cushioning is unmatched. However, I will still give the nod to Gel Resolutions for a more stable, low to ground feel during competitive matches, and being able to tighten the laces enough. These shoes did fit true to size for me. I weigh 200 pounds and I felt the cushioning was more than adequate for my weight.

Comments: I know why Novak gets everything back. Extraordinary shoe. Fits like a glove. I am a 4.0 level player.
From: Steven, 5/22/20

Comments: I bought my second pair on April 16, and I really like these shoes. I wear size 10.5 on both pairs and in all my other tennis shoes. The fit is really good and the styling is superb. As with all my shoes, I take out the soles that come with them and replace them with an aftermarket insoles, these add comfort to the shoes as I wear them all day. I still wear my first pair of Asics Court FF 2 shoes to this day and they are holding very well.
From: Angelo, 5/19/20

Comments: I purchased an Asics FF 2 Novak red color on August 19, 2019 for 159 dollars. By December 15, 2019, the shoe stitching was already coming apart making it very ugly and cheap looking. The Asics shoe was lightly used because I purchased at the same time two other Asics FF 2 Novak blue and red, and rotated between the three shoes. I would not recommend buying the Asics shoe based on my experience of four months of owning these expensive shoes. I asked Tennis Warehouse of such a defect within four months, Tennis Warehouse stated that that is normal wear and tear for their shoes. They did offer me a discount on a future product when purchase at full price, but did not specify amount of discount when I am buying.
From: Cheevin, 1/17/20

Comments: I bought a size 10.5 but these shoes are a half a size longer. They are even longer than my size 11 Cage 3 RAFA shoes.
From: Sai, 12/17/19

Comments: Out of the box comfort. I did have to exchange the size 10 for a 9.5, and when I put them on to play, it was awesome. The comfort is great, the support is perfect for my foot with a medium arch, and the traction is phenomenal.
From: Jeffrey, 12/12/19

Comments: Awesome shoe! I've been a long time Gel Resolution user. These feel very similar, however in my humble opinion feel a little more stable around the ankle when lacing them up, as well as performing aggressive movements on the court. The only down side is I ordered a size 10.5, but had to return them for a size 10. Just came bigger than I'm used to with Gel Resolution.
From: Jason, 12/10/19

Comments: I bought these because I thought they will be like Djoko's adidas shoes, but not even close. Material is different. Shape of the shoes is different and hurts my feet on multiple places. I will go back to adidas Barricades. But even their quality is lower than last year's. I hope they will start making quality again.
From: Michal, 12/9/19

Comments: Fast delivery in good condition. Good quality, authentic. For sure I will buy again soon. Thank you.
From: Wilmar, 12/4/19

Comments: Shoe is comfortable and moves well on the court.
From: Forster, 12/3/19

Comments: I use the Asics Gel Resolution 7; the FF 2 shoes in the same size fit more narrow. They didn't seem as flexible as the Gel Resolution 7 shoes and I didn't want to gamble on them opening up. I had to return and will wait a bit for Asics to release some new Gel Resolution models.
From: Paul, 12/2/19

Comments: I love the shoe. I did have to return the size 10 for a size 9.5, but once I put it on, it was out of the box playable. The sockliner is snug but not too tight, it is almost playable without tying my shoes. I loved how comfortable it is out of the box. It's not plush or too soft, but it is very comfortable. Very pleased.
From: Jeffrey, 11/29/19

Comments: Love the look of the shoe. The top part of the shoe is not as comfortable as I would like, due to the large amount of plastic. I hope it softens as I wear the shoe more. I do like the tongue that stays in place, although it does take a little getting used to. Great traction and stability on the court.
From: Chuck, 11/11/19

Comments: Best shoes ever. I'm 6'6", weigh 220 pounds, and played tennis in college. I'm now in my 50s and have used Prince T22s for a while, and tried the Gel Resolution 6 but didn't like them that much. Love these shoes. Tons of cushion and comfortable.
From: Bill, 11/9/19

Comments: Recent Asics shoes Gel Resolution and FF, are taking longer to break in than before. They are tinkering too much. Tennis players who buy expensive shoes replace them when their current pairs wear out, not because there is a new model. Note number of reviewers who liked older version better. Why mess with a good thing? Since the shoes last only one year of moderate play, you want them to be comfortable right away.
From: Edward, 11/9/19

Comments: Great shoes. I'm picky but these were just great. Comfortable, lightweight and fit perfectly. Highly suggested.
From: Maurizio, 11/6/19

Comments: Nice fit, sharp looks, but had to return. They're simply too clunky, like wearing two cement blocks on my feet.
From: Rob, 10/28/19

Comments: Found a pair of white 12.5 as mentioned in my previous comment and the fit was better. The sock is not as comfortable as the first generation Court FF, neither is the inner sole cushioning, saturday mornings I'll play 2 or more hours and then do an 1.5 hour drills class after and the bottom of my feet hurt halfway through the drills class, the first generation never hurt. I must say on the positive side, the outsole is better and more durable.
From: Robert, 10/27/19

Comments: Comfortable and lightweight, with a very good grip on the outsole. These shoes fit my usual exact size, they are very good shoes to play tennis with.
From: Enrique, 10/24/19

Comments: I'm not a big fan of this single sleeve, no tongue, design. The shoe feels a little clunky and because it's kind of a high-top, it digs into my ankles and causes some pain. However, since I paid more than $140, I will just use them. Next time, I will probably try the Gel Resolution or something with a lower top and a tongue.
From: Gene, 10/21/19

Comments: I play 4-5 times a week on clay. The best shoes I have ever played in with regards to support, comfort, and traction. I highly recommend these shoes.
From: Michael, 10/16/19

Comments: I'm a 4.5 player who wears an 8.0 'D' width shoe. I found the fit on these to be very snug, and if my feet were any wider, I would have been extremely uncomfortable. However that is not my issue, my issue is that the length is longer, maybe half a size longer than the stated size. I went out to break them in, and found myself stumbling at times because my toes would catch on the ground. My footwork is normally very good, so this is a problem. I don't think that I could play matches with them until or unless I buy a new pair in the 7.5 size. Can't say for sure if I will take a chance on the smaller size though, as I would be worried that they will be too tight on the sides.
From: Charles, 10/12/19

Comments: I love these shoes. They are a big improvement over the earlier version with better support, better traction, and same snug fit. Easier to get on after a few weeks use. Best shoes I have ever had.
From: John, 10/11/19

Comments: I love this shoe. Very comfortable, great traction. One of the best Asics has made.
From: Jorge, 10/10/19

Comments: I am very happy with the Asics Court FF Novak shoe. I am a long time Novak Barricade adidas consumer and this is my first time following him to Asics. These shoes are as solid as the Barricade 7s that Novak wore for many years, however, I am finding the Asics to be significantly lighter. As always Tennis Warehouse provided the best price and easiest shipping.
From: Doug, 10/7/19

Comments: The best Asics shoe of 2019! I've been a Barricade user for about four years and I have to say it sits right between the Barricade and maybe the Gel Resolution 5, which was my favorite Asics shoe way back in the day.
From: Justin, 10/6/19

Comments: Initial thoughts. These were amazing, slides like butter when need be and grips when need be. These shoes are perfect for my play style. Though they wear off pretty quickly. Very sad they don't have 6 month guarantee.
From: Michael, 10/1/19

Comments: Great support and cushion. The most comfortable shoe since the Gel Resolution 6.
From: Timothy, 9/27/19

Comments: The shoes are so nice, so comfortable, for me the best shoes.
From: Diego, 9/23/19

Comments: Best Asics shoe by far in the last 10 years! Period.
From: David, 9/19/19

Comments: Not since the Nike Vapor 9's have I ever been as satisfied with a tennis shoe like this one. It's got better cushioning than the Zoom and it fits like a glove. It fits narrow right up to the toe-box so people with wider feet shouldn't even bother. There's no pinching or pressure points and my heel is locked in. These are my first Asics so I can't compare to earlier models. I'm buying a second pair as soon as prices go down on the not ugly colored ones.
From: Peter, 9/17/19

Comments: Sorry to say that I can't wear these after going through three pairs of the original Court FF. The material is now a hard plastic or vinyl rather that the previous mesh. This caused an ulcer on my medial malleolus after first play. I cut the material down to usable in this area with a scissors. The toe box is both too spacious and shaped wrong. It tapers too quickly for fifth toe comfort yet makes a clunking sound from all the extra material. Very disappointed. Court Speeds don't have enough support and not a great vinyl panel. I can't wear the Solution Speeds because of toe box narrowness.
From: Reid, 8/30/19

Comments: I'm not sure what happened here since I ordered these on the phone and they had no notes about these being so oversized. I always wear 10.5 but these shoes are a full thumb's width past my toe in the toe box. Visually, about 3/4 of an inch longer than my other 10.5's. So, I got some 10's and they are the right size for me. I'd say they run a half size too big for sure. To start, no matter how loosely I laced these they are tight, no hotspots, but tight. So tight my foot started tingling on the drive to the court. I gave them a chance and figured they'd loosen up a bit after running around in them and I was right. I love them. When I first got them out of the box I compared them side by side to Novak's former shoe, the Barricade Novak Pro, one on each foot. This is when I noticed a huge difference. The old shoe, you felt like you were on it, this shoe feels like you're in it. On the court, what can I really say, the support felt great, traction, and more. The best compliment I can give is that I forgot all about them on the court. They aren't cheap, but I feel that these are indeed better than what I had.
From: David, 8/29/19

Comments: Wow, what a disappointment. The original Court FF knit upper fit, flexed and breathed so well. It was my favorite all time shoe. This rubbery and a little clumsy replacement misses the mark. The NB Lav is a better Court FF replacement in my opinion.
From: D, 8/2/19

Comments: I have to agree with Matthew, on the comfort and fit, maybe they need some break-in, the original Court FF's never did. I also felt that the rubbery uppers have a strange feel to them compared to the mesh upper of the first Gen FF's, kind of a mushy feeling. Also they don't have a 12.5 size any longer and the 13's made my forefoot feel like it was swimming in the toe box, I'm sure that a 12 will be too short. The outsole traction seems improved on the plus side.
From: Robert, 7/14/19

Comments: I had a pair of the first generation court FFs and loved these shoes, since they discontinued them I thought I would try the 2nd generation FF2s. I found they are wider and don't fit as nice as the first ones, they feel clunky and too spacious. The sock is also not as comfortable and soft as the first generation shoe.
From: Matthew, 6/18/19

Comments: This shoe brings positives and negatives from the last model. There is better overall construction so you don't get the bottom plastic bending into the ground when the shoe breaks down. The outsole is more durable and a little slicker. I wish the side sole came up a little higher, I still wear holes in the sides pretty quickly, but they are much smaller. This shoe is still a very snug fit, but not as plush as the last version.
From: Ben, 6/10/19

Comments: My foot is very narrow. I used the previous version in size a 9 per TW's go a half size down. Those shoes fit like a glove. I ordered this version in a size 9 and it feels more like a size 9.5. While it feels good on court, it does not fit as well as the previous version. The plastic around the outer shell of the forefoot clicks when it bends and, in my case, there is just too much room. I could use an insert, but love the way it feels and an insert takes away some of that feel. I will purchase an 8.5 next order as this is still the best shoe for my foot. Fast, comfortable, and stable, even if it feels a bit too big.
From: Vascao, 5/9/19

Comments: One of the two best shoes I have ever worn - the other being the Nike Zoom Zero. A great combination of cushioning, speed, and stability. Better ventilation and medial support than the original Court FF, the shoe also is lighter than the original and feels it. It is hard to find anything to complain about in this latest offering from Asics. Highly recommended. A truly wonderful tennis shoe. By the way the show is actually easier to put on than the original version and once you have learned the process of inserting your toes into the shoe and pulling the back end of the shoe over your heel to get into it, it is no big deal. Like putting on a diving flipper or a bootie. I also think the shoe performs best when using the runner loop to lock in your heel.
From: Mark, 4/21/19

Comments: Best tennis shoe I have ever put on. Out of the box comfort, lightweight, yet extremely stable base.
From: Jake, 4/18/19

Comments: This shoe has no tongue and if you have wide feet, is impossible to put on, terrible design.
From: Peter, 4/10/19

Comments: Absolutely great shoe. I have been a loyal Asics Gel Resolution fan through all its iterations but decided to give these a try after seeing them in person. They were very comfortable right out of the box and required no break in time. Support and traction also seem excellent. The only potential area that might be difficult for some is the sock liner. For myself it is mildly difficult to put on and not really an issue but for others it may be a little tight and hard to put pull on their feet. For reference I have a low arch with moderately wide forefoot and narrow heel. I really could not be happier with the shoe and have had no on court issues to date.
From:Kim, 4/8/19

Comments: I love the color, and was amazed that it matched my Pure Aero La Decima. I tried on 10.5 (my regular size), 10 also. 10 seemed to have slightly higher heel feeling, which I prefer, but was too tight, so went with the 10.5. Overall, still the same great shoe as the first version. But feels more mass produced. They didn't feel as custom as the old version. The more "plastic rubber type" uppers don't conform to your feet as the old ones did. I feel a certain creasing due to looseness, on the left shoe, right across the top of the shoe where the lowest lacing is located, when I walk. Tightening the laces helped a bit, but then the front flat behind the toes are bulging up, because of this. Seeing that none of the testers have noticed this, it must attribute to lack of better quality control. It may go away, once the shoe breaks in, I think it's getting less noticeable. The padding around the collar of the shoe at the heels are thinner, not as plush. This is a sign of cost cutting to me. The 10 had a nice forward cant, which I prefer, but the 10.5 feels like my heels sit a bit lower, causing more of a propulsion feel. But all in all, it's still a great shoe -- like the first one and while playing in them, I forget about all these shortcomings, because the performance is still pretty awesome.
